I find it surprising to see that there is a mistake on the very first exercise p. 2 # 11. -π appears in the key as a “RATIONAL” number. How is my daughter supposed to trust the answer key as she uses this book? Would someone, have a list of mistakes/corrections available? Dr. Luna McCune? Math instructors? I honestly love the book. I think is clear and concise and, were there an errata list, I would give it a 5. I just want to see if I can get a list to make the editions on my daughter’s copy.

Great book to get on road with Algebra 1. Introduces concepts well and is fairly comprehensive. A decent workbook to learn/review concepts and practice them.
Not too long like some textbooks and therefore easy for kids to get thru in a few months time without feeling encumbered.

The content is excellent, however, seller should be aware of the state of the item before delivering it. I got a complete book but front cover was cringed and several beginning pages were all bent, yellowish and showed signs of having been wet and dried under the sun.
But content was complete.

This was better than the textbook my son had to learn Algebra I. It included examples of how to solve them with details, and good amount of problems. The only downside was that the answer key was not perforated to be easily tearable.

This is a good review book over algebra 1. However it does have 1 flaw. It gives only a few sets (2-4) of questions reviewing the subject. My son was able to go through 4 units within 15 minutes. It’s good for a small review over the units. I would just like it to have a bit more questions per unit.

I’m a retired high school math teacher who bought this to keep my mind busy and to do for the fun of it. Have found at least one wrong answer so far. Great book, but not edited perfectly. Be aware.

This literally teaches everything you will need to know for Algebra 1 and provides lots of practice problems. Think of it as a condensed classroom textbook without all the fluff and graphics. It’s very to the point. The only issue is the occasional wrong answers in the answer key. If something seems off, double check it using an app like Wolfram Alpha. A vast majority of the answers are correct, though.

Great book with concise instructions and enough practice questions without being repetitive.
However, there’s a mistake on 14.2 number 5. I wanted to post in case it comes up for someone else.
It wants to mix it up with a word problem and gives a triangle’s area in ax^2 + abx + b^2 and a base as x + b, (I forget the actual numbers) but it leaves off in the answers that the height needs to be the quotient times two because a triangle area is 1/2bh.

Overall good for review. I searched online for an errata but didn’t find one. There are quite a few mistakes in the answer key so be aware of that.
